I look so forward to school starting right in the middle of summer when the kids are driving me nuts. Now school will be in session and I dread it. I got a list of all these damn fees the schools want on top of just the basic things I need to buy for the kids to be confident about starting on the first day.

I am a mother of three and each is in a separate grade. My youngest (boy) is 5 starting Kindergarten, I cried with the first two on their first day, so we’ll see how I do this time around (fingers crossed). The middle child (boy) is 12 and in junior high going to the 7th grade. And also going through puberty. So far he has been the most problematic of all my children in school. The oldest (girl) is 14 and now a freshman. My God how time flies.

I am fortunate this year to be a stay at home mom so I have signed up to be a parent volunteer at each school and plan to be on all the PTA’s.

After recently moving to this neighborhood I don’t know anyone and neither do my children. If anything I can’t wait to have some real adult conversation LOL.
